An inspired explanation!
The last message of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Medjugorje must not be forgotten! (PS1)
Mary warns us of a very grave danger: the invasion of ideologies that, in subtle ways, threaten us. These ideologies present themselves as bearers of good for humanity, but they are traps because they do so by excluding God.
And without God… there is no future!
The term “ideologies,” uttered by Our Lady, is powerful. It’s like a bombshell!
To better understand this warning, I asked Gianfranco Amato, an experienced lawyer, to write a clear explanation. (PS2)
We need to be careful: do not take the wrong path, because our future is at stake!

PS1: “Dear children, also today I thank the Almighty that I am with you and that I can lead you towards the God of love and peace. The ideologies which destroy you and your spiritual life are transitory. I am calling you, little children: return to God, because with God you have a future and eternal life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (June 25, 2025)
PS2: Gianfranco Amato, a respected lawyer by many, is a courageous witness of the Catholic faith; he is not afraid to act as a true believer.
Attorney Gianfranco Amato writes:
The last message from Our Lady in Medjugorje on June 25, 2025, contains an interesting phrase: “The ideologies which destroy you and your spiritual life are transitory.” Some friends have asked me for clarification on these ideologies.
I’ll start by clarifying what an ideology is. Archbishop Luigi Giussani, the founder of the Communion and Liberation movement, taught us that “ideology is a theoretical-practical construction developed on a preconception.” “More precisely,” Giussani explained, “it is a theoretical-practical construction based on an aspect of reality, even if true, but taken in a somewhat unilateral way and treated as absolute for a philosophy or a political project.” Therefore, it is not necessarily a lie in itself. If anything, it is a reduction of reality achieved by absolutizing one element of it and denying all the other factors that determine it.
The fleeting ideologies that threaten to destroy the individual and his or her spiritual dimension are diverse in today’s postmodern society. Let’s examine some of them, starting with the one that most impacts the identity of the human being, the family, and society.
Gender ideology
This ideology denies that human beings were created by God as male and female, and instead asserts that it is human beings themselves who decide how they feel, regardless of their biological, sexual, or chromosomal makeup. What matters, according to proponents of this ideology, is not the objective evidence of reality, but subjective perception. It is a deconstructionist ideology, meaning it seeks to deconstruct—and therefore destroy—the individual, the family, and society.
Materialistic ideology
This ideology rejects any transcendent and spiritual dimension, recognizing only pure matter. Humans are not creatures of a Creator, but simply biological events born by chance and therefore acting simply through chemical reactions and neuronal impulses. For proponents of this ideology, the soul and consciousness do not exist; they are the product of mere cultural developments.
Transhumanist ideology
This ideology claims to create a new human species, a transhuman species, far more perfect than the current one, through science and technology, particularly using discoveries in biotechnology, genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, cybernetics, and information technology. The idea is to create a new human species by overcoming the current biological limitations of disease, suffering, and even death.
Environmental ideology
This ideology takes the legitimate protection of Creation to extremes by identifying humanity as the true enemy of the environment. It does not recognize a God as the Creator, but deifies “Mother Earth,” placing natural reality above humanity.
Rationalist ideology
This ideology also rejects any transcendent or spiritual dimension, limiting itself to recognizing only human reason as the sole center and measure of all things. It replaces God with the “Goddess of Reason.”
Politically correct ideology
This ideology represents a form of linguistic conformism in line with the dictates of “One-Stop-Thought,” a cultural standardization that does not tolerate diversity of opinions or ideas in the political, religious, ethical, economic, and social spheres. The absence of pluralism is countered by a single worldview considered valid or dominant. It is, in essence, a kind of rigidly dogmatic, intolerant, and liberticidal political religion.
Woke ideology
This ideology, under the guise of combating social injustice, leads to such an obsessive focus on people’s language and behavior that it stifles freedom of expression itself. The fear of being negatively judged by this ideology’s censors creates a climate of tension that hinders any dialogue or debate. The Manichean vision of woke ideology, which divides the world between oppressed and oppressors, can easily be defined as diabolical from an etymological perspective, meaning it aims at division, as it is destined, by its very nature, to generate conflict rather than build bridges between different segments of society.
Cancel culture ideology
This ideology, often associated with woke ideology, advocates the need and moral duty to boycott or exclude people or institutions for statements or behavior deemed offensive. This dynamic risks turning into a form of censorship and polarization, even going so far as to theorize a sort of “damnatio memoriae” (condemnation of memory) against historical figures. They even went as far as removing statues of saints.
Technocratic ideology
This ideology recognizes the absolute primacy of technique and technology. Its proponents identify with a kind of “technotheism,” a real idolatry of technological progress, without considering the negative effects this can cause, such as the phenomenon of “nomophobia,” or addiction to smartphones, the internet, and social media, which is destroying entire generations.
Homosexual ideology
This ideology asserts, with conviction and pride, homosexual practice as normal and natural, seeking to enforce this claim at the educational and cultural levels in individual spheres of society, such as politics, economics, schools, and religion.
Relativist ideology
This ideology recognizes nothing as true and definitive. The only yardstick left to the individual is his own ego and his desires. According to the proponents of this ideology, there is no objective truth, but rather many individual relative truths that actually respond to the desires and whims of those who establish them.
As can be seen, there are many ideologies. But when observed from the perspective of history and eternity, they appear in all their fleeting transience.
