Medjugorje, June 18, 2025
Dear friends, praise be to Jesus and Mary!
1. On May 25, 2025, the visionary, Marija, received the following monthly message:
“Dear children, In this time of grace, I am calling you to be people of hope, peace and joy, so that every person may be a peacemaker and a lover of life. Pray, little children, to the Holy Spirit to fill you with the strength of His own Holy Spirit of courage and surrender. And this time for you will be a gift and a walk in holiness towards eternal life. I am with you and I love you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

| 2. Beethoven in jail. Some of you have told me how much they enjoyed hearing about my father’s experience in the Resistance, and so I’d like to share with you another experience he had.
One day in 1944 he was with some other prisoners in a cell in one of the concentration camps, and they had heard that General De Gaulle was speaking on the radio to the Resistance. For the prisoners any little bit of hope was precious and they would cling to it. They noticed at lunch time that the SS would leave the office to go and eat, and the office was left unlocked. So, the prisoners decided to take turns and listen to De Gaulle on the radio while the office was empty. |
| They risked being executed, as you can imagine.
This particular day it was my father’s turn. He went to the office, turned on the radio and listened to General De Gaulle addressing the French people. After a short while he heard the SS officer coming back to the office, and he froze with fright. He knew there was no way he could leave the office without being seen. As the officer was about to enter, my father turned the knob on the radio and what came on was a beautiful symphony of Beethoven. Seeing my father in the office, the officer screamed violently at him. But at that moment my father put his hand on his heart and repeated “Beethoven, Beethoven…” as if he was really enjoying the music.
Now, the miracle happened when it turned out the officer was a music lover and was a big fan of Beethoven. He repeated with my father, “Yah, yah Beethoven” with the same pleasure, and he let my father go back to the cell and spared his life.
As I wrote last month, his mother in France was praying the rosary constantly for the safety of her son from which she had no news for 3 years. But she trusted Our Lady that she would bring her son back home safely.
This is one of the many stories of graces obtained by praying the rosary. (See PS1) |

These were Our Lady’s final words at the end of the novena of prayer for the Anniversary of June 25, 2024, last year, on Podbrdo. This novena brought together thousands of people from all over the world, and the rosaries continued until late into the night. The response was magnificent!
This year, for the novena before the June 25th Anniversary, the small Medjugorje group that usually climbs Podbrdo at 5:00 a.m. to pray the Rosary will go there at 4:30 a.m., accompanied by the visionary, Marija. Marija will receive her apparition at 5:00 a.m. near the statue of Mary, not in the evening at the Magnificat.
For those who cannot climb or who are not in Medjugorje, I suggest you pray with all your heart our special Novena written last year for this occasion. Like any gift offered to Mary, the important thing is to put your whole heart into it, because only love heals and works miracles!
Starting on June 16 and ending on June 24, the feast of St. John the Baptist and the day of the first apparition. You can also start it on the 17th and finish it on the 25th, the day chosen by Mary to celebrate this Anniversary. We can start it any time!

| 4. A lot of fake videos and articles are being spread around on the Internet, claiming to be words from Pope Leo XIV. We have to be very prudent and check the authenticity of them before listening to them and sharing them with family and friends. The Pope has already spoken about the dangers of artificial intelligence. In his first official address to cardinals, he warned of the dangers of it to “human dignity, justice and labor.”
In order to combat this, the Vatican has updated their website, so that all official videos and documents will be held on that site. Please, for the sake of our Pope and the sake of our Church, stick to the official website!

| 6. June is the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It has been 350 years since the most significant apparition to St Margaret Mary Alacoque took place, where Jesus revealed the mysteries of His heart and said:
“Behold the heart that has so loved men that it has spared nothing, even exhausting and consuming itself to testify to its love. In recognition, I receive from the greater part of men only ingratitude, by their irreverence and sacrilege, by their coldness and the contempt they have for me in this Sacrament of Love. But what is still more painful to me is that hearts consecrated to me treat me in this way.
Therefore, I ask that the Friday after the octave of Corpus Christi be set apart for a special feast to honor my heart, by receiving Communion on that day and making reparation to [my heart] by a solemn act, in order to make amends for the indignities that it has received during the time it has been exposed on the altars. I promise you that my heart will open to pour out in abundance the influence of its divine love upon those who shall honour it, or cause it to be honoured, in this way”. (Apparition on June 16, 1675).
Let us spend this month entering more deeply into the Sacred Heart of Jesus and develop a renewed reverence for Jesus in the Eucharist.
Celebrations to mark the 350th anniversary have been ongoing in Paray-le-Monial in France since December 2023! In Ireland they too are preparing a worthy celebration – on Sunday 22 June 2025, Ireland will be reconsecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the Shrine of Knock. |
