Memo From USCCB On Medjugorje

We have received many emails asking about a recent memorandum issued by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops regarding Ivan’s trip around that country to spread the messages of Our Lady.
The letter stated that clerics and the faithful are not permitted to participate in events which would assume the credibility of the apparitions.

Be at peace! This is nothing new! The Vatican has not said “no” to Medjugorje, or to anyone privately organizing a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. Having a priest as a chaplain to hear confessions and prevent the faithful from veering from the faith or the teachings of the Magisterium is even encouraged.

Patience… God’s plan will be fulfilled. Let us pray with complete confidence and let us wait for the conclusions of the Commission.
